There is no delay today. and it will be 90-degree rule.
The Course restrooms are open for the season.
Its the time of year when the light sanding of the greens will occur. Sometimes weekly or bi-weekly. The purpose of the sand is to protect the crown of the plant from mechanical injury at the same time reduce grain and provided a smoother putting surface. Sometimes during a PGA Tour event in the south, you will see sand splash up on a greens once the ball hits it.
We have painted the course for water and lateral hazards. Red indicates a lateral hazard and yellow indicates a water hazard. In the rules, a hazard is defined by a painted line. A red or yellow stake only identifies that there is a red or yellow line nearby. Make sure to play by the painted line. The only time a stake to stake matters is the white, out-of-bounds stake.
As the rough begins to grow, I will figure out a day and time that we will need to close the range for us to pick up all the balls and mow it. I will ask the ProShop not to sell any balls until we are finished. Thanks for your cooperation.
Please avoid driving in the fescue areas that we planted. I do not want to put the ropes back out. We are going for the natural look in these areas and the traffic will delay that from happening.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO REPAIR YOUR BALL MARKS AND RAKE YOUR BUNKER SHOTS.
We are canceling the aerification on Monday, June 9th. With the cooler weather after the last aerification, the greens have not healed up like I was expecting. Our next aerification will be mid August.
