There is no delay today. It will be 90-degree rule. Please watch for water puddles and avoid them.
The Course restrooms are open for the season.
We have began to hang the netting on the back of the driving range. That will be our #1 focus over the next week since we have the lift rented for the time. The aerification of #2 green went well. I'm seeing a lot of positive so far. Yesterday, we sprayed 8 acres of nutsedge and dallisgrass. I hope to see some discoloration over the next 2 weeks.
We have removed most of the rope where we are trying to grow fescue. I ask to try to avoid driving in these areas to help the grass grow uniformly. We will be using the rope to mark off areas where I'm seeing wear patterns near tees and greens. I really do not like using rope because we have to move it each time we mow, and that takes time. If you can be conscientious about avoiding the same areas each day and move around some, we might be able to not use them so much.
As the rough begins to grow, I will figure out a day and time that we will need to close the range for us to pick up all the balls and mow it. I will ask the ProShop not to sell any balls until we are finished. Thanks for your cooperation.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO REPAIR YOUR BALL MARKS AND RAKE YOUR BUNKER SHOTS.
I will have the Course Conditions updated by 8:00 each morning.
